In Millstreet Town Nora O' Leary first saw light of day
But ninety years later she breathed her last in the U S of A
In 1960 she married a Coolikerane man Daniel O' Connor also known as Dan Connie O
Going back in time some six decades ago
For many years they owned a bed and breakfast business in the Catskills Mountains where they were well liked and well known
There they raised their children and the seeds of success by them were sown
Predeceased by her husband Daniel Nora recently died
Far from her first hometown in Duhallow's green countryside
The Millstreet Town Nora was raised in is quite a different Town today
But that is is not the only town to undergo change is only true to say
Most of those she went to school with in cemeteries lay
And the changes keep happening as time ticks away
A good mother and a good wife to Daniel and to many a good friend
Far from Millstreet Town her life journey came to an end
Her loss to Millstreet and Ireland was America's gain
Hope her passing from life for her was free of pain.
