In Life Looked On As Failures

 The material things of the Human World in abundance you possess

And with your money and material gains others you like to impress 

High on the hill of  success on the materially wealthy side of the town

You are on the summit of material renown

In the twenty first century the accumulation of money personal power and admirers to one does bring

And so many in the town your praises do sing

But the power to do good only comes from within

And despite your money you are not one who does help to make the World better to live in

For the starving millions of the poor World out there

Since of your own needs you only seem aware

Though the majority with my way of thinking do not agree

Since i view success from them in ways differently

Vincent Van Gogh and John Clare just two people who died in poverty but never the less

In life looked on as failures but in death they became a success.
