As long as healthwise you are feeling okay
Though in time you are long past your best physical day
You are far better off than those in the cemetery
So feel happy for every day you wake for to see
Big Brother's judges you may fail to impress
Since they deem you to be poor by your postal address
But you have a home to live in and enough food to eat
And you are one who can afford to buy meat
You may be one of the poor side of the town
But you are not one who is financially down
You work hard for a living and draw an honest pay
And you never wrong anyone in any way
Though with much more money more things you could do
Wealthy people in poor health envy people like you
Though in years not that long past their physical prime
Their doctors tell them they are on borrowed time
To a ripe old age they cannot hope to survive
Which proves money it does not keep people alive
And in them it only gives rise to unhappiness
To realize that life is the greatest gift that they possess.
