Than Money And Fame

Though these two are seen as important just the same
There is more to living of life than money and fame
Poor people in many ways those who only exist for their own renown
And no shortage of their sort in any city or town
You may be one many wish to emulate
And what you are good at be seen as a great
But if to the suffering of others you are one who is blind
Then despite your wealth and fame you are one of the self centered kind
On the material success ladder you may have climbed far
But this doess not tell us of the type of person that you really are
How you treat and respect other people says more about you
Than your money and fame can ever hope to do
It is not more of the self centered wealthy and famous the Human World of is in need
But the kind, compassionate and caring who plant Karma's good seed.
