For Every Wealthy Person

It is something that is beyond me to explain
Why somebody's loss becomes somebody's gain
There are far more winners than losers in the World every day
Sadly this is how it  is humanity works in this way
A saying that is relevant from the days of old
Money makes money as has often been told
For one for to win someone else has to lose
Though losing is a thing anyone does not choose
The majority of the material wealth of the World is owned by the few
One may say of this do tell us what is new
Few seem to care of the plight of the financially down
The homeless and hungry of the poor side of the town
For every wealthy person many in poverty
This is how it is and how it always will be.
