In A Class Of Her Own

For beauty she will never know of renown
She is not one of the attractive looking young women of the town
But what she lacks for in looks she makes up for in another way
Beauty is only skin deep as the wise one does say

She is a good friend of the financially down
In her work free time always helping the poor of the town
She is one who performs good deeds every day
Without expecting the rewards of any monetary pay

She is one who does have a beautiful mind
A State registered nurse she is compassionate and kind
Next year she does hope if all for her goes to plan
That she will be working for the sick  poor in a hospital in Sudan

In her mid twenties not anyone's partner or wife
She is a woman who lives a moral and good life
A volunteer in her work free hours for the Salvation Army and Vincent De Paul
Where empathy, kindness and compassion are needed she answers the call

Plain looking and dark haired in her physical prime
Not one of the town's beauties at the present time
But the seeds of good Karma every day by her sown
And as a caring person in a class of her own.
