Park Lake Pertobe looking green after the recent rain
With such beautiful weather one ought not to complain
Far north of this beautiful place in the far south
In New South Wales and Queensland in lands stricken by drought
There are massive bushfires burning today
For Climate Change sadly the price huge to pay
Where many have lost their homes and a few have lost their lives
And in most people in bush fire areas grief of loss for years survives
Where the weather at most times is on the side of cool
Quite a nice City for to live in Warrnambool
On a beautiful evening in November in Spring
In green and sunlt Park Lake Pertobe the blackbirds do sing.
