On A Grey Fantail

In the shed where Jenny and Ross create their sculpting a grey fantail collecting material for her nest
At the workings of nature one can only feel impressed
Grey fantails slightly smaller than willy wagtails of feathers dark grey
Birds one does see often though not every day

Captured on video camera by Jenny quite a beautiful sight
Of the workings of Nature to fill the senses with delight
Of her collecting dried grass and spider webs for her cup shaped nest on low branch of tree
Where she will lay her two to four pale spotted buff eggs and most likely three

Grey fantails are birds that are not people shy
On pursuit of flying insects close to the ground they do fly
They do not seem to worry if there are humans nearby
And one never does see them flying high in the sky

Of Nature we learn something new every day
She is quite amazing of her one can say
Though her wonders are many her secrets are not few
And we learn as we live every day something new

Those who do not love Nature do not realize their loss
Every day new wonders to witness for Jenny and Ross
What Jenny captured with her camera is such a beautiful thing
The great joy to the senses such scenes from Nature does bring.
