Life does go on though every day
By death from many people it is taken away
The Reaper of lives does not respect money and fame
And is the one who treats everyone as the same
Death does not treat anyone as a friend
Every day life's journey for people does end
And every day babies are born for to take their place
For to swell the numbers of the human race
Life does go on and time ticks away
And tomorrow will dawn as it did today
The future ahead and as most would agree
The past just a memory of what used to be
And the now is what matters as the wise one does say
So make the most of the now for the now is today.
