From Life For Us All

From life for us all a final farewell
Though we will not hear the tolling of  the funeral bell
The life journey we are on will come to an end
As we are born as mortals why otherwise pretend
The longest lived human life in real time not a long span
On average a few years more for a woman than it is for a man
For the wealthy and poor there is a last night and day
And there is no inequality where dead people lay
There is no guarantee that the parents will outlive their daughter and son
And tomorrow will dawn but not for everyone
In life treat other people as you would like them to treat you
For what we do unto others to our own selves we do
There is a last night and last day for us all
To the scythe of Life's Reaper we will eventually fall.
