The morning was wet and windy but now the sun is out
And what have you to seem so gloomy about
You do look so sad life does have you down
Of late you have joined the sad souls of the town
With little in your life for to celebrate
You are one who has not been smiling of late
And you have not been heard laughing for many a day
It does seem that joy from you is far away
In life there are good days as well as the bad
Memories of our happier moments for us can be sad
You used to be one with a smile on your face
But of happiness nowadays in you not a trace
It is said of late you are not feeling mentally well
But of time this may only be with you for a short spell
This sad feeling with you will not remain
And soon you may feel happier and be smiling again.
