Today with her family and friends her grave gathered around
The coffin that enclosed her remains was lowered to the ground
Her journey in life for her had come to an end
A journey that will end for us all why otherwise pretend
Buried in the same grave as her husband was ten years ago
Eventually time becomes everyone's foe
Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren there to bid her farewell
In her eighty ninth year of time she had lived quite a spell
To her children a good mother and to her husband a good wife
She was an honorable person who led by good example in life
Her family and friends did farewell her in tears
In all who knew her good memories of her will be living on for many years
Where the local deceased are at peace she now lay
The beautiful person who was buried today.
