From The Local Newspaper

In the local newspaper of the country town
A big tree in the park by the recent storm blown down
And in the football final the local team
Were beaten in a tight game for them and their fans an end to their dream
Of bringing the cup back home with them to town
One must suppose in life there is many an up and a down
But on much better news for the town anyway
The local actors club won the finals of the regional play
For the National title they are qualified
And their feat to the town is a sense of pride
Mrs B and her husband Ed our well known local identities are holidaying in Rome
On a few weeks from now we will welcome them home
Just a few stories from the local newspaper that are being talked about
And the word is that this weeks's edition is already sold out.
