But because of this falsehood thousands of badgers at the hands of humans have died
And they have become quite rare in the countryside

Some scientists with this beg to differ of late
They tend to believe T B lives in the land
And their thinking on this not hard to understand

One animal in a veterinary T B test is positive as infected with T B
Whilst all of the olther animals in the herd of the disease are free
On the causes of T B in cattle many contradictions would you not agree
And that there are no clear answers to this is how it seems to be

In badger free areas where herds with T B are infected on dogs some put the blame
And that thousands of badgers have been slaughtered due to T B in cattle seems a terrible shame
It well may be that T B in the fields is hidden in the ground
This is a view of late that in science does abound.
