Most politicians elected to parliament are obsessed with the power that comes with money and fame
For their own inadequacies on their political opponents they put the blame
The honorable and truthful politicians one can say of the few
And this is not saying anything that is in any way that is new
Most politicians the truth do know how to disguise
One can say of them that they believe their own lies
To their own selves they could never be true
They are good at being deceitful for to give tthem their due
A prerequisite for a successful political career is to be able to deceive
That they have a right to lie most politicians believe
They do not see verbal deception as a dishonorable thing
And of their own praises and the praises of their political party they do love to sing
Most politicians only speak the truth
When to their personal aand political advantage it happens for to suit
In parliament and to the media they lie every day
With them for to lie it is seen as okay.
