Pure Love

You cannot be compassionate and caring and kind
If you do not have room for pure love in your mind
For pure love is a thing you do have for to share
It is something quite beautiful as well as quite rare

Love reserved for yourself and your spouse and family and very close friends to pure love not anywhere near
It is far closer to narcissism it would appear
Though with this sort of thinking many would disagree
This is how it does seem to old cynical me

Those with pure love in them go out of their way
For to help those in need of helping every day
Pure love in their minds has found it's own space
Their sort does transcend nationality and race

Since they do belong to a very rare breed
Those with pure love in them are blessed indeed
Since of a better Human World for all to live in they help plant the seed
And of more of their sort humanity is in need.
