That he earns his living in the hardest way happens to be so
He looks older than one in his early fifties he walks stiff and slow
The yeaars of hard work on him it clearly does show
His two sons living overseas in their early twenties he lives with Mandy his wife
For the concreter no easy payment in his working life
He looks more like an octogenarian not one of fifty three
Few jobs harder than shovelling concrete as most would agree
For him in life never an easy pay
He earns his livelihood in the hardest way
Broad shouldered and muscular from laying concrete floors every day
On his balding head his once brown hair is grey
Though physically strong and healthwise feeling well
Years of laying concrete floors on his body does tell.
