But Americans have little to celebrate in truth one can say
Since they are leading the World in deaths due to COVID-19
One of the World's great super powers better days has seen
To be leading the World in COVID-19 deaths is nothing to brag about
The self assurance felt by most Americans has given way to self doubt
A virus in the naked eyes that cannot be seen
That is known as Corona Virus or COVID-19
Has reduced the people of a great and celebrated Nation to worry and fear
That there is no such a thing as a superior race is quite obviously clear
On COVID-19 deaths they lead the way
But nothing to boast of in this for the U S of A
For them things will get better one only can say
To all Americans a happy Independence Day.
