In what is supposed to be the World's most livable smaller Town
Though livable only for the privileged few
And this is not saying anything that is new
As a holiday destination it is known far and wide
Port Fairy in the Moyne Shire's coastal countryside
It is the homeplace of many a millionaire
A really poor person could not afford to live there
That it is the World's most livable small Town some may well disagree
For what is livable to you may not be so to me
I always thought that a livable place is where homes are reasonably priced to buy or to rent
In Port Fairy it would cost you over two hundred dollars a week in a holday park to pitch your tent
The residents of Port Fairy in their beautiful coastal Town feel a justifiable pride
But to live in it is not for the working poor or the unemployed
But if you are a wealthy person with lots of money to spend
Port Fairy for you a house to buy in i would recommend
Voted as the World's most livable small Town where close to the seashore
Most homes in Port Fairy are worth a million or more
What is livable to you may not be so to me
But then suppose on all things very few do agree.
