We learn as we live it does seem this way
And the more we do learn the more we come to realize
That we do know so little this not a surprise
So lucky are those quite lucky indeed
Who of any more knowledge do not feel in need
The know it all people are not of the few
And this is not saying anything that is new
That on the day we left school our lessons in life did end
Some who think they know better do like to pretend
But then we only believe what we wish to believe
And if your mind is not open to learning knowledge you cannot receive
That we never stop learning some may disagree
This is how it is and how it always will be.
