And a visit to Mars in their planning for soon
Though they do not yet have a vaccine for COVID-19
People have died in their thousands from a killer that cannot be seen
And though money speaks every language as we have been told
The wealthy like the poor eventually grow old
And like the poor too have a last night and day
We are born to die life works in this way
And though many human achievements are to say the least great
With all other life forms we share a common fate
In that we are born into life to eventually die
Earthly mortality for human beings is based on a lie
Though there may be a World for good souls somewhere beyond the stars
Far beyond the Planets of Jupiter and Venus and Mars.
