And of Nature every day we learn something new
Yet the more we learn of her the more we realize
That of her we know little this not a surprise
The food that we lives on she helps our Earth Mother to grow
Yet little respect to her so few of us show
Mother Earth her partner to satiate our greed we abuse
For our sins against Nature and our Earth Mother there is no excuse
Due to destruction by us humans of their natural habitat many of Nature's creatures are becoming rare
And too few of us sad to say seem environmentally aware
Nature and her partner Mother Earth of more human friends are in need
By our abuse of them of our own extinction we may be sowing the seed
For our abuse of Nature and Mother Earth future generations of human beings may have to pay
And this is a sad thing for to have to say.
